Love a dress but not sure how it’ll fit? Our In-Studio and Postal Try-On service lets you try selected garments before you commit to renting. Here's how it works:
In Studio Try-On's

Where
- Our studio is located in Birkenhead, Auckland.
- Try-ons are by appointment only, so you have the space and time to try on as many dresses as you'd like, without the rush.

Booking Your Appointment
- Appointments are available on Thursday & Friday 6pm - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 2pm and Sunday 11am - 1pm
- Each appointment is 30–45 minutes.
- A $20 booking fee applies - this will be credited toward your rental if you book within 7 days.

What to expect
- Try on as many dresses as you like during your time slot.
- We'll be there to help with sizing, styling tips, and event-ready advice if you'd like, or you’re welcome to browse solo!
- We provide a relaxed, pressure-free environment where you can feel confident and comfortable.

Studio Try-On Policy
- Please arrive on time, if you're running late, let us know ASAP. Late arrivals may have a shorter appointment time.
- Dresses must be tried on with care, please avoid makeup, fake tan, or perfume that could mark garments.
- All dresses have security tags and must not be worn outside of the studio.
- If you decide not to rent, the $20 fee is non-refundable. If you do rent within 7 days, it will be deducted from your booking.

Cleanliness & Care
- We take great care in preparing each piece for try-ons. Garments are steamed and checked between appointments.
- Please treat them with respect, just like you'd want your rental to arrive!

Postal Try-On's

How It Works
- Postal Try-Ons are available nationwide (non-rural addresses only).
- Try-ons are sent during the week (Monday – Thursday)
- Garments are loaned to you strictly for try-on purposes and must be returned by the following day at 12pm.
- You may try on dresses in your own space, but items must not be worn out, altered, or removed from your home.
- All garments will be sent with security tags attached. If these tags are removed, you will be charged the full rental amount.

Pricing
Our tiered pricing makes it easy and affordable to try on multiple styles:
- 1 Garment: $35
- 2 Garments: $50
- 3 Garments: $65
Prices include admin and garment handling. Return shipping is not included.

Shipping Information
- You are responsible for both postage to and from your address.
- We will provide return instructions in your package.
- All try-on dresses must be returned via tracked courier and handed over the counter (not just placed in a dropbox).

Credits & Bookings
- If you decide to rent one of the dresses you tried on, we’ll apply a $20 credit toward your future rental of that dress.
- The credit is valid for 30 days and can only be used on the same garment you tried.

Booking & Availability
- Postal Try-Ons are subject to garment availability and may not be possible during busy event weekends.
- We recommend booking your try-on 2 weeks in advance to secure availability.
- In the event your selected garment is no longer available (due to another booking or damage), we will notify you and offer an alternative, store credit, or refund.

Important Notes
- Try-on fees are non-refundable unless cancelled with at least 5 days notice.
- If items are returned late, a $25 per day late fee will apply (as per our normal late fees policy)
- Any signs of wear, staining, or damage will result in a cleaning or repair charge, or the full rental fee being charged.
